【Article】Our article on business management in Africa was published in a policy journal issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan

(22 August 2019, Tottori, Japan) The article of Tottori Resource Recycling
Inc. on business management in Africa, “Management of agriculture business in Africa: Model for Growing Together Centering on a Strategy of “Full Trust”” was published in a policy journal, Discuss Japan, issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.

Tottori Resource Recycling is providing water-saving agriculture technology by mixing multifunctional foamed glass “Porous Alpha”, manufactured by burning used glass, into the soil. This technology can increase water retention capacity to enable better water efficiency in the arid area. Porous Alpha has various track records in Africa such as Morocco, Mauritania, Senegal, Kenya and Somalia(*1). Besides, the business and technical feasibility study is now been carried out in South Africa supported by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan(*2).

In the published article in Discuss Japan, Tottori Resource Recycling is presenting the framework and activity on the establishment of mutual trust for business in Africa based on the experience of the management of the subsidiary in Africa and the experience to partner with local partners.
