توتوري، اليابان – 16 مايو 2017، شركة (Tottori Resource Recycling (TRR مصنع الزجاج الرغوي عن طريق تكنولوجيا التدوير، أنشأت شركة Tottori Resource Reycling Morocco S.A.R.L كشركة تابعة ومملوكة بالكامل في اغادير، المغرب في شهر مايو، وذلك لتعزيز الأعمال المتعلقة بتحسين التربة للمزارعين المهتمين بتوفير المياه وزيادة انتاجية المحصول.
قامت TRR بعمل مشروع تجريبي لتأكيد فعالية توفير المياه للتطبيقات الزراعية في المناطق القاحلة باستخدام منتج الزجاجي الرغوي “بوروس ألفا” وبتمويل من الوكالة الياباني للتعاون الدولي (JICA) منذ يونيو 2015. وبالتعاون مع وزارة الزراعة والثروة السمكية في المغرب. ومقارنة مع تقنية الري بالتنقيط المستخدمة حاليا، فقط حقق هذا المشروع توفير مياه بنسبة 50% مع زيادة الانتاجية عند مزج بوروس ألفا مع التربة الزراعية.
وبالإضافة للتجربة المذكورة بالأعلى، قامت TRR بالنظر في قابلية تسويق حلول توفير المياه في المغرب من خلال قنوات عدة متضمنتاً كوب 22 (مؤتمر الأطراف في الدورة الثاني والعشرين) ومؤتمر سالون إنترناشيونال دي أغريكلتشر أو ماروك بدعم من JETRO (منظمة اليابان للتجارة الخارجية) ومحافظة توتوري، اليابان.
قطاع الزراعة ذو اهمية كبرى في المغرب، حيث انه يشكل 13.1% من الناتج المحلي الإجمالي، و 80-90% من استهلاك المياه، وفقاً لخطة المغرب الاخضر ومنظمة الأغذية والزراعة. وتعتمد الزراعة في المناطق القاحلة، بما في ذلك منطقة سوس ماسة (مركز انتاج الخضروات في الغرب)، اعتمادا كبيرا على المياه الجوفية. وبسبب تغير المناخ، من المتوقع ان ينخفض معدل هطول الأمطار في المغرب بنسبة تصل إلى 50% بحلول عام 2050 وفقاً لبرنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي. الاستعمال المستدام للمياه قضية بالغة الأهمية بالنسبة للنمو الاقتصادي طويل الأمد والنشاط الزراعي في المغرب.
تقدم TRR من خلال الشركة الحديثة حلول تحسينية للتربة عن طريق منتج الزجاج الرغوي “بوروس ألفا” لتقليل استهك المياه وزيادة الإنتاجية للمزارعين. توفير هذه الحلول ووضعها في متناول الجميع يسهم في النمو المستدام للمغرب.

Tottori Resource Recycling established a company in Morocco to market soil amendment solution with “Porous Alpha”

Tottori, Japan – May 16th, 2017, Tottori Resource Recycling, Inc. (“TRR”) a foamed glass manufacturer through recycling technology, established Tottori Resource Recycling Morocco S.A.R.L as a wholly owned subsidiary in Agadir, Morocco in May to provide soil amendment based on our product “Porous Alpha” for farmers exploring water-saving and yield increase solutions.
TRR has carried out an experimental project to verify our water-saving agriculture technology for arid area with our foamed glass product “Porous Alpha” financed by Japan International Cooperation Agency(JICA) since June 2015 and in collaboration with Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries in Morocco. Compared to the existing drip irrigation solution, this project has achieved further 50% water-saving alongside with yield increase with Porous Alpha mixed into the soil.
In addition to the experimentation above, TRR has explored the marketability of our product for the water-saving needs in Morocco in various opportunities including COP22 (The twenty-second session of the Conference of the Parties) and Salon International de l’Agriculture au Maroc, supported by JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization) and Tottori Prefecture, Japan.
Agriculture is so important sector in Morocco that it accounts for 13.1% of GDP and 80 – 90% of water consumption, according to Plan Maroc Vert i , and FAO ii. The agriculture in arid area including the region of Souss-Massa, the centre of vegetable production in Morocco, has already heavily depended on ground water. Due to the climate change, the precipitation in Morocco is estimated to decrease by up to 50% by 2050, according to UNDP iii. The sustainable water usage is now crucial issue for the long term economic growth and agricultural activity in Morocco.v
TRR provides, through the newly-established company, the soil amendment based on our famed glass product “Porous Alpha” for farmers to realize water-saving and yield-increase at the same time. Providing the solution in close at hand, we contribute to sustainable growth of Morocco.
